What can I say?
I love challenges!
Sharon posted that she's joining Penny from The Saved Quarter Challenge in making a goal for Christmas, as well as gifts through the year.
I was a little hesitant to join in, because Penny had a $100 goal, and that would set me up for failure (she has littles, I have older teens).
My goal is $1000 total.
I am hoping to shave my out of pocket cash by utilizing swagbucks, and deals.
And, to pick up gifts through the year, on sale.
This is fun, and so much better than going insane at the end of the year during Christmas madness.

I can't imagine a $100 budget, but it was impressive! I've cut my budget in half to $1250 for this year, so even this is a big stretch for me! Which is really insane (and embarrasing) if you think about it! Ugh!
I'm in a high cost of living area (Boston) and I just can't do it on $100.
And don't feel bad, I would have been overjoyed to have spent only $1250 last Christmas.
I do love how Penny really works the gift cards and deals, and gets a lot of value for so little money.
Good luck with your Xmas goal :)
